Imported Tooling

Dear Customer,

Matrex is a representative of a large mold maker in Hong Kong. We have done this to provide you additional tooling options. Matrex will help you determine what type of tooling makes the most sense for your projects. If importing makes sense, we will help.  Our company will do the mold specification, review the designs, help determine the tooling material, take care of all information transfers, handle the paperwork needed for shipping the material required to sample the molds, make the import arrangements and provide continued service for the tooling.

We have created an imported tooling quotation form that will need to be filled out and either e-mailed or faxed to our office in Portage. Along with the form you will need to send the electronic data files for the parts. All of our quotation communication is done via e-mail and ftp.

The company that we represent is one of the top manufacturers in the region. They produce in excess of 1000 molds per year. We have established a very thorough communication system which we believe is a key to successfully dealing in the world market.
